Wikihousing opens its doors to La Casa de la Arquitectura

A few days ago, we welcomed the team from La Casa de la Arquitectura to Wikihousing Barcelona for a visit focused on touring the construction site and sharing the different processes currently being developed around the project.
The visit, carried out together with architect David Juárez from Straddle3, provided an opportunity to discuss the construction systems being used, the assembly and fabrication processes, and the research lines linked to ecological construction, training, participation and the collaborative production of housing.
The recording and dissemination of the visit are part of the web curatorial programme of La Casa de la Arquitectura, developed by Bartlebooth (Antonio Giráldez López and Pablo Ibáñez Ferrera) and Diego Morera Sánchez, with the aim of bringing contemporary architectural practices and urban transformation processes closer to a wider audience.
