Participatory Workshop at Habitatge Jove Caldes

A participatory workshop has been organized to help condition the outdoor space at Habitatge Jove Caldes, as part of the open house program designed to introduce this new youth housing facility to the public.

Join us on Friday, March 31 at 4:00 PM and Saturday, April 1 from 10:00 AM at the new public housing development for young people in Caldes de Montbui, where we will collectively work on the outdoor communal space!

Over the course of these two days, we’ll be self-building a pergola to provide shade during the warmer months, and we’ll also be working on the finishing touches of the outdoor storage container for community use.

The pergola will be made from a metal frame and finished with treated pine wood planks, the same type used on the building’s façade. During the workshop, you’ll learn basic skills in working with metal profiles and especially wood. We’ll finish by assembling the pergola in the building’s garden.

Everyone is welcome! No prior experience is required—come be part of this hands-on experience, where we’ll learn carpentry and metalworking skills and enjoy the process together.

We’ll keep the mood lively with music, snacks on Friday, and an aperitif on Saturday.

Come join us and spread the word!
