AACC 2019 Presentation Action – Palma de Mallorca

The 12th International Meeting of the Arquitecturas Colectivas (AACC) network will take place at the end of September 2019 in Palma de Mallorca. In this edition, several collectives and local residents from the neighborhoods of La Soledat, Nou Llevant, and El Molinar will work together to propose practical alternatives for an urban environment that puts people at the center.
The gathering also aims to support and connect various emerging initiatives across the Balearic Islands, focusing on access to housing and public space.
To kick off the event—scheduled from September 25 to 29—organizers hung a large banner from the overpass connecting Nou Llevant and Molinar, symbolizing their intentions to prioritize improvements in this transforming area. The banner read: “Antidotes for a Fake Paradise”, the slogan for this year’s edition of the Arquitecturas Colectivas network.
