PROJECT OF THE YEAR 2021 AWARD

The Project of the Year 2021 Award, presented and developed by the website Plataforma Arquitectura , has become a true tradition that this year has reached its thirteenth version. It rewards, through the recognition of the readers of the network, the works published during 2020 that inspired and best represent the identity of their local contexts, in a globalized planet, marking the way of doing architecture from Latin America and Spain, in an increasingly heterogeneous and multicultural world.
The winners demonstrate the relevance of thinking architecture as a resolution to specific problems in order to improve the quality of life, both at any scale and in response to any program.
Our work, APROP Ciutat Vella, has been selected, this time, as the project of the year. We send our sincere thanks to the users of @plataformaarquitectura and congratulate our colleagues at MAPA Arquitectura and Estudio de Arquitectura + Alin V. Wallach.
We celebrate this award with @euliaarkitektura, @yaizaterre, @barcelona_cat, @constecnia, @societatorganica and all those who were part of this challenging process on this great occasion!
