XI Collective Architectures Meeting in Málaga

The 11th edition of the annual Collective Architectures Meeting will be held from September 13 to 16, 2018, in Málaga, with La Casa Invisible as its main venue.

Against the harsh and rigid obedience imposed on architecture and urban planning —its techniques, plans and apparatuses— we propose a meeting that opens up disobediently to the multitude of agents and forces that shape the city through everyday life, under the motto URBAN DISOBEDIENCES.

This gathering will be an opportunity to develop more shareable tools, more critical cartographies, and more open devices for movements that fight for a more open, democratic, and less boring city. It will foster affective, productive and mutual support connections with the resistance processes currently taking place at La Casa Invisible. The power of urbanity lies in its disobedient contact with life, in its care, and in the joy of unfolding its many possibilities.
