FINALISTS IN CATALUNYA CONSTRUCCIÓ AWARDS

The Association of Quantity Surveyors, Technical Architects and Building Engineers of Barcelona (CAATEEB) has announced the eighteenth edition of the Catalonia Construction Awards, which recognize the efforts of professionals and entrepreneurs in the sector and reward people whose work has contributed to improving quality, management, sustainability, innovation and safety in construction in Catalonia.
The eighteenth edition of the Catalonia Construction Awards consists of five professional categories, a prize for final degree work and a special prize. The APROP of Ciutat Vella has made it to the final stages in the category of innovation in construction.
This award recognizes those individuals or teams, professionals or entrepreneurs, who have promoted innovation in products and materials; in new construction systems that simplify or facilitate the implementation of the work; in innovations in the processes and organization of the work. In all cases, these innovations were applied on a construction site, whether in technical, organizational, occupational risk prevention or sustainability and energy efficiency aspects.
