PretiL:
in spanish, railing that preserves from falling
PL: name of an animated robot that inhabits the cd and keeps track of the course on security and health in the workplace. the project was ordered by IDFO-UGT, institute for training managed by the UGT union of Catalunya.
the objective of the project was to adapt the contents of a course of 50 hours to a cdrom format. the great amount of material and the limited maneuverability determined the execution of the project.
PL, the animated robot, illustrates the introductions of the units and some of the lessons. at the end of each thematic unit the user finds exercises that help him to test what he has learned.
in this project we have integrated audio, video, text and images, plus interactivity with the end user. the result has been a didactic tool, with which the workers acquire knowledge of security and health while they are entertained.
